Common questions

Which tournament formats can I use?

Choose round robin, group stages, knockout or Swiss, and combine compatible formats in stages. Available formats depend on the activity’s participant and scoring settings.

Do we need to create a group first?

No. The setup supports an existing group variant or a standard activity and variant directly. A group is helpful when your players also want an ongoing competition between events.

Can a tournament combine several formats?

Yes, supported formats can be combined in stages. For example, start with Swiss rounds and advance four qualifiers to semi-finals and a final. See the format combinations.
